During some recent PR work for my forthcoming children's book, The Hungriest Mouth in the Sea, I was asked the question of what children's books did I grow up with? Answering this question was like releasing a latch on an over-filled trunk. Books I haven't thought of since childhood came flooding back, some as old as children's publishing itself. Soon after it occurred to me that for all the literary inspired artworks I have created, very few have touched on the mountain of wonderful classic literature for children. These one-off, monochromatic prints, represent my personal rediscovery of the captivating stories of our youth.
