I created this work to capture the serenity and immensity of the sea during low tide. The combination of muted colors emphasizes an unreal, almost contemplative sense of peace. The overcast sky and reflection on the water invite deep reflection, while the details of the sand draw natural lines that guide the eye to the infinite horizon. This work is an invitation to stop and absorb the tranquility of a moment suspended in time.
