Artwork description:

Just the 2 of you, singing to each other, songs of love and laughter.

In this series of what I call Mix and Match linocuts, I have a whole library of different pattern lino plates, that I layer on top of each other. You can custom order colors and combinations.

WHAT IS A LINOCUT?: linocuts layered on top of each other, creates a lush contemporary feel to this handprinted linocut.
the linocut plates are inked up in different colours, first a lovely sky blue, with the last plate printed in a sooty black, then I layer the linoplates on the paper until I have the effect I desire..... this also means that no 2 prints are alike, making your linocut a truly original print.
If you would like to see how a lino is made and printed, have a look at the short film in the "me at work" section of my shop.

SIZE: I printed "Lovebirds" on a piece of warm white heavy weight printmaking paper,
the actual image is 15.5" x 7" (40cm x 18 cm)
and the paper is 18.5" x 9"(46 cm x 23 cm)
EDITION: I have signed, titled and numbered the print 1/1, so this is the print you receive.

SHIPPING: Your linocut is mailed from my studio with many years experience in packing my prints so they arrive safely, see my oveer 1000 reviews.

Thanks for visiting my shop and welcome back!
