Artwork description:
Titled "Lost Sailor" this 22" x 28" dark blue, gold and green large acrylic semi-abstract glows with swirling clouds both dark and foreboding yet illuminated by the sun, rain and rolling dark waves. Even though the storm threatens to swallow boat and all, there is a stillness and light to yet get through it. Sometimes we have all felt like lost sailors in this tumultuous voyage of life.
When I start an abstract painting most times I have no idea what it will be. I merely put down line either in charcoal or paint and then follow with colour application. The painting then shows me what it wants to be and then I help it come into being in our world. It's a magical experience
Size: 22" x 28" wired and ready to hang (painting extends around sides so framing is not necessary. Would look great in a black or dark brown floater frame!).
Materials used:
professional artist's quality acrylic paint
