Artist's description:

This painting is not only a representation of the ocean. I created it to make you feel what you feel when you sail on rough seas. Nothing is stable, you completely lose the notion of horizontality and you have the impression to be attracted to the sea by sliding on the waves. This is why the horizon is inclined to create this sensation. The horizon is also slightly rounded as in reality.
The use of the palette knife gives a lot of movement and strength to the work, which further reinforces the realism of the sensation.
