Once you have reach the half century mark one tends to do a lot of reflecting....at least I did. As a young person I did a lot of things, I was never a quiet shy child, some note worthy and some I am not so proud of.
There are certainly things I would tell the younger version of myself if I could go back in time but, for the most part, I would live that life again because it shaped the person I am today, flaws and all. Those misgivings I had as a child, the uncertainty of who I was, led me to make mistakes. Looking back at those times can truly understand how those moments burrowed their way into my brain. They were stored until the moment I could truly appreciate the lesson and now I get it.
If you could go back in time, would you change anything? And what would you tell that impressionable version of your younger self?
Side note..... the dresser depicted here is one that my folks got for me when I was 12 and I still cherish and use it daily. One of the few tangible constants in my life.
