"Longing" is a large-scale oil pastel drawing from my ongoing Body, Soul, Space series capturing my evolving emotional and physcological state through time and space.
This particular piece was created during my states lockdown at the beginning phases of the COVID-19 pandemic. Being mostly unable to go outside, I hoped to capture the sense of sadness, isolation, and longing I felt for the outside world.
Materials used:
Oil pastel on canvas primed with acrylic paint and gesso.
