Limited Edition of 45
Homage to a rather famous painting, reduced to a few dots.
At it's full-size (50x50cm) you cannot see what the picture is of.
Only when you step-back does it become recognisable.
Part of a series of work exploring old school photographic 'half-tones'
and how far you can push them. Also a wry observation on the practice
of so many artists who reproduce picture of famous icons in the desperate
bid to be noticed (you know who you are).
Sold unframed, wrapped in tissue in a sturdy tube. Fits a 50x50 frame with a mount
(see example image)
Giclee print on Somerset 100% cotton 300gsm paper
