Titled "Like Steve McQueen" this painting emerged like it wanted to run hot and fast through the cool streets of Paris. Clean blues, greens, greys and hot red makes up the palette and the brush strokes are decisive and bold. The sides are painted the same colour of grey as in the painting and the painting is wired and ready to hang, or, can sit on a small easel on your desk, side table or bookcase. If you choose to frame it, it would look fantastic in a floater frame!
When I start an abstract painting most times I have no idea what it will be. I merely put down line either in charcoal or paint and then follow with colour application. The painting then shows me what it wants to be and then I help it come into being in our world. It's a magical experience.
