Artist's description:

Here I was primarily concerned with how to imbue the subject matter that can seem monotonous at first with life. I'm interested in finding a way of drawing/painting anything from my surroundings and making it as vivid and full of life as it is when I look at it in real life. To do this I've realised that a work of art has to reinterpret the subject matter and instead of being a sort of inventory of the studio I have drawn the walls and the whole interior with the same vigour and liveliness that I would normally use to draw a human being or an animal.

This drawing was executed on high-quality, heavy-weight (200 gsm), fine grain Daler-Rowney paper, using a Faber Castell pencil.

The artwork would be safely shipped to you from London in a heavy-duty, wide-width postal tube.
