Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This digital artwork is entitled 'Liberty's fight for Freedom' for submission for the AF Project, One Scene, Many Views, based on making an artwork of any medium from a single point of reference of a photograph.

This has been inspired by the aftermath of a meteor shower striking earth in the sea or by an earthquake causing a Tsunami, or by global warming, in which would cause the sea levels to rise. Inspired by the films The Impossible (Tsunami scene), Armageddon (Meteorite scene), Deep Impact (Meteorite scene), Independence Day etc.

The artist has taken the One Scene, Many Views photograph and as reflected this, so the shore is on the left hand side, digital altered the colours, of land, sea & sky. Inserted collage elements that's been used on others works, such as Falling Stars & Stripes Flag containing Four Letter words, and the Statue of Liberty's head, above the water line.
