I had fig trees when I was growing up. My mom made fig preserve. I used to eat it with cheese. Delicious! Now I have a home of my own and I also have fig trees. One of them died with a recent freeze but I still have another one. Mockingbirds love these fruits. This painting features all the preparation to make figs. Made in oils on a gessoed untempered masonite beautifully framed.
