Artist's description:

This piece is part of a serie called Happy Feet which celebrates my passion for dance and well you know...shoes...Each piece is composed of the painting, the story written on the back and a song .
On the back of this one you can read ::Let’s face the music and dance
Oh yes, we have tried to find some excuses. We were too young, we did not know, we had to see, wait...Oh and there were parents who did not understand us or loved us enough or worse did not have the money for us what we really deserved to be...And before we knew it there were the teachers who did not like us, the boss who should not be the boss, the jealous colleagues, the choices made for a loved one, for a kid....and make sure that this circle of blaming could go on for ever...And just when we thought we could there were commitments, mortgages, too old to start anew, to learn, to change, to try, to go to do it....
Yes all this, and all true, but the other truth is also that if you don t make it on the dance floor, you are simply done. You don t have to know the steps, you can follow your own rythm, you don t have to be the center of attention, you don t even have to stand but for sure , you have to face the music ...and Dance.
When : before they ask us to pay the bill
How: start with your feet, rest will follow
With : Ella, Frank, Nat, Tony Bennett, even Lady Gaga, they all work but only if you try...I give you Fred Astaire well because of the singing and the dance https://youtu.be/YtZrXzoaJvc
