Artist's description:

The mythical Leda and her seductive Swan, Zeus. A new take on an ancient tale. This gorgeous and richly coloured piece is evocative of Diego Rivera and Mexican folk art, and yet, it's got the magic of a tarot deck and a hint of De Lempicka in it's strokes. Highly stylized, this piece brings together the sensuality of a Goddess and the suggestiveness of an unexpected union. This is a conversation piece. At 12" x 16" it is perfect for framing - I'd suggest something ornate and gilded or something dark, wooden and richly carved.

This piece evokes the masculine and the feminine at once, as Leda herself shows male qualities and her swan lover is resplendent in his avian beauty.

This is made of acrylic paint on canvas board, so it is relatively flat and can ship rather easily. If you are one to pick up emotion and love from artwork, then look deeply into this piece and you will discover within it my heart and soul.
