The creaking of wood, the seagulls' soft cries,
Echo the years as time swiftly flies.
The old man stands, a sentinel to the sea,
Witness to departures, where horizons meet eternity.

His heart intertwined with the ebb and the tide,
As the fisher boats venture, with courage as their guide.
Leaving behind echoes of stories unsaid,
In the old man's heart, where the ocean's thread is spread.
