When I see a bottle floating in the water, whether a pond, lake, or the ocean, I'm always hope to find a message inside. “Leap of Faith” is a message in a bottle (possibly to myself).
Creating visual art, like life, sometimes requires faith and hard work rather than a detailed plan. It is not meant to shout. The colors are quiet, and the markings and collage elements are quite visible. Like the water that delivers the bottle, this piece has momentum. The circular movement is a reminder that messages (and sometimes the bottles that contain them) are sometimes elusive.
