Well, this is not too far from the truth. Ardent cyclists incorporate some very interesting blow-dry effects into their rides in fine weather. Being unable to determine what the finished style should or will look like, just adds another layer of surprise and interest to the journey. I can verify this, being a cyclist myself. I do not have a dog, and having one would, I think be fun and helpful. I have cats, and to be honest, they're useless at helping and leading the way - all cat owners know that cats 'follow in front' of you, just to be unbelievably annoying. :-I
I have used a black permanent fine-liner pen to draw this artwork onto a 'recycled' road map. I use AA road-maps dating from the early 1980's that were printed onto good quality paper that was made to withstand constant usage and handling. I love the effect that they have on work that involves images of movement in travel. It's often only afterwards that I notice any region or town depicted by the map. This drawing is framed with a contemporary solid oak wood frame, and is ready to hang or stand.
