Artist's description:

In this series of digital work I let my imagination wander on the subject of climate change and how we should get ready to share Paris with the ocean's ecosystem...
It's a work about the ocean taking over the land. With some bystanders surprised by an ocean of octopus over their heads... it's something about humans re-doing the same mistakes over and over again, not learning from their mistakes, not evolving enough to survive the nightmare they've created. Or it might only be a bad dream...
Inspired by the recurring flooding of Paris, I mix images of 1910 with contemporary photos of Paris. The layers and transparencies give an air surreal to the scene, something out of a Jules Verne story with machines and sea monsters.
