The doggy Tour de France is very competitive. They are all slogging it out on the Alpine stage on their bikes, tongues lolling, paws in the air! As jerseys would be far too hot for dogs they are wearing scarves instead so you can see the yellow leaders scarf in the front!
This collage is made on a vintage French linen fabric. The alps are made out of a pale green fabric woth the snow covered tops in white cotton and white stitching. All the competitors are made out of different fabrics and their scarves have been machine stitched on. The bikes are also machine stitched on and each bike has a different colour. The road is made of a natural colour hessian and the green fields are soft cotton fabrics. The title of the collage has been embroidered on the front as has my signature. I am selling this collage un-framed and it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
