Artist's description:

A lady eating cactuses: a metaphore of the courage of people to face the difficulties of life. The latin sentence written on the upper left means literally "against her peace" and it's written with brass leaf in using the same alphabet of Duecento Italian paintings. The artwork is framed with faux fur to create a contrast among the spikes of cactuses and the softness of the framing.

Painting made on paper applied on chestnut board, framed with grey faux fur.

Ready to hang.

Materials used:

200 gsm Fabriano paper, chestnut board, faux fur, acrylics
