Artist's description:

'Lapwing under a cloud' is a lino and screen printed work and one of a series of six designs inspired by the landscape and birds of Teesdale. So far I have finished Curlew, Red Legged Partridge and Mallard, all species I regularly see in the north Pennines farmland. Lapwing are a red list species and nest in the small fields. They have good years and bad years, mostly down to the weather which always seems to turn cold or wet just when they start to sit on their eggs. This is one of a limited edition of 30 prints but the colour scheme will be different for a lot of the prints which means in reality each print is different.

Printed on 300 grm paper in water based and oil based inks and mounted in Ice White. The print is ready to frame in a 50 x 50 cms standard frame. Packaged in cellophane, bubble wrap and cardboard to protect it on its journey to your wall.

Materials used:
