A little study of the garden steps at my studio in Taigwynion, Wales. Trying to see everything as a separate colour and ignoring spatial recession. By maintaining the saturation of the colours, the steps, which would normally be expected to' recede' into depth, here, don't. Just a little reminder of the flatness of painting..
