This artwork is made on fabriano 300 gm 25% cotton paper, cold press, acid free.
Τhe painting is showing the landscape behind an old and abandoned building complex in the old village. The building complex was used for many years by the military as a camp. Now it has obtain the beauty of loneliness and abandonment. Someone can see the signs of time on this, very clearly. The landscape around the camp has its own particular beauty. This beauty was inspired me to paint it. My technique on this artwork is based on expressionism. I wanted to express my feelings with big and fast brushes, and splashes.
