The eyes belong to a famous movie star, can you guess who?
I created an ink jet print of my own painting, "Beautiful Eyes" on archival card and added it to the collage. I love combining my prints in my collages and I'm especially interested in eyes which are windows to the soul.
The silver tissue is about 1 cm deep, securely attached, but not stiff. The shallow gallery wrap canvas makes the whole assembly about 3 cm deep. The combination of red and silver is luxurious, but with a contemporary feel. The red is a true scarlet. The white background is true white and the silvers range from matte to mirror surface.
The white back ground continues around the edge canvas to create a 3D effect.
Shipped unframed and ready to hang. "Lady in Silver and Red" does not require framing, but if you so choose, it would look wonderful in a floating frame, easily obtained at your local frame shop.
I'm happy to ship to most countries prepaid.
