Juxtaposed against the very still blue sea and sky are the vivid red sandstone cliffs at Ladram Bay. The composition is all about a grid of vertical tall rocks and the horizontal of rock layers and horizon.
It's actually a very deserted beach despite being close to a holiday park because the cliffs on one side jut into the sea and on the other it's a long walk over rocks that are only exposed at low tide. I've walked it about three times and you do wonder if you'll make it back in time. If you don't I guess you'll be swimming.
Signed on the side.
