Laakmolen – 26-04-19
The Laakmolen is an ancient mill already painted by Vincent van Gogh and it is hidden from plain sight nowadays. One time I passed it by on my bike in the evening where I quickly took a picture of the mill surrounded by citylights. In this series of small drawings I used this picture only to roughly sketched it within the time limit of one hour. I continue practising drawing like that for the beautiful season to come.
Graphite pencil drawing (Pentel 0.5 mm, 3B) on Canson Bristol paper (10.5 x 14.8 x 0.1 cm – A6 format)
