Artist's description:

The mouth is a tool used to profess love in several ways. In this piece I wanted to emphasise the links between lips, roses and love with red as the dominant colour. I also wanted to conjure up images the humorous and somewhat corny idea of putting a rose between your lips before a dance, almost as an act of submission.
