When crossing over the rockies I snapped a picture with my phone. It was early morning and I was flying from BC to Calgary. It was a breathtaking view, this is a large piece, meant to be the focal point of a room. It's etherial blues shine out. This painting is gallery edged and ready to hang.

Expressionist and Impressionist artist used the loose brush technique, artists like Van Gogh, Freud, Edvard Munch and Emily Carr have inspired me. Plus I add my own original flair into my work. I feel that a painting has to deliver a passionate energy, and I put that in all my works.

All my work is carefully packaged, and it’s free delivery to the US and Canada. It comes with a certificate of authenticity, each piece is numbered and entered into my database so I can track it, and the number is placed also on the back of the canvas along with my signature, which is also in the front too.

I have sold art professionally for over 20 years, and my art has hung in galleries in Toronto and Owen sound, Canada.

“I have been watching Lydia post her paintings on fb for a long while and loved the detail and colors used, and her interpretation of the world thru her eyes...and then one not only spoke to me it looked just liked my Aunt! Quite amazingly so. So it was purchased and sent to the US post-haste and given as a gift to said Aunt and it was amazing... she loves it! Looking forward to the next purchase.”
