Artist's description:

A landscape view of the range of hills known also as The Olgas. This composition was painted and refined over and over again to try and capture the overwhelming force of this elemental landscape. The hills are painted with finish and are set against the rough scrubland in the foreground emphasising the contrast between Kata Tjuta itself and the land surrounding it.
I was much affected by this ancient landscape and found it as much an emotional experience as Uluru itself, just down the road. How could you not be inspired?

Materials used:

oil on stretched canvas

Kata Tjuta, Northern Territory (2017)
