Artist's description:

I was inspired by watching a TV show on the Animal Planet about Polar Bears. I was amazed at how they hunt. Being the largest bear in the world - there was a segment that showed how they hunt. They will stand silently listening until they hear a seal swim by under the ice. When they hear them they jump, smash through the ice, and grab the seal all in one swift movement. It's amazing how such a large animal can move so quickly and effortlessly . . . almost like a ballet. I wanted to title this work "Fast Food" but my wife and mother in law wouldn't let me. Hence, it's called: "just Listening" - I can live with that.
