  Artist's description:

  This piece is another mini autobiography, in that it reflects some elements from my own life, and that of a Home I know well.... Earlier in my career I painted many interiors; rooms filled with personal affects that give a glimpse into the lives of the people not pictured, who occupy and create a specific space... A variety of articles pictured, combine to tell a story.... I have spent a week minding a dog belonging to a family member, and as I sense a season of family gatherings here, coming to a close, I decided to document what this cozy place feels like... It also speaks to my day to day life of this period; a little snapshot of who I am, and what occupies my own heart and soul... This canvas is painted around the edges, and can be hung without framing...
