Artist's description:

Photographers often can be found wandering around the abandoned buildings in Detroit, Michigan. One morning I was out with a group to photograph abandoned churches and their adjoining schools. At lunch time everyone decided to leave while I was finishing up a shot. I was the last person left in the spooky building, and running to catch up with the group when I saw this basketball in the old gymnasium. Knowing that if I didn't hurry I would be left behind, I didn't bother with putting my camera back on the tripod. I set it on the floor and just hoped that my settings were correct. When I returned home I found that I had captured my favorite shot of all time. The basketball perfectly lit with the football players seeming to jump for the gym's basketball hoop.

This photograph was taken in Michigan by a Michigan photographer, and printed in Michigan - which makes it a 100% Michigan made product!
