Artwork description:

A reduction linocut print exploring a journey walking around the area of Rowbarton in Taunton through the hidden landscape.

A soil sample was taken during the walk around the area and used to extract the hidden aspect of the landscape via drawing the journey in agar in a petri dish, transferring the material released in distilled water, allowing fungi to grow, revealing itself in the agar.

This inspired the reduction linocut, becoming a reduction lino print of the journey with all the aspects of the landscape revealed.
