Artist's description:

Back in the 1980s I had a real thing for a song by the Eurythmics called 'Jennifer'. Jennifer was "underneath the water". But how had she ended up there, in her purple dress, her orange hair floating around her face and her green eyes staring up from beneath the waves? Had she taken her own life? Why? Or was it even more sinister? It also made me think of the Lady of Shallot floating down the river. All of this romantic, gloomy mystique appealed to me back then. Still does. And this wall panel is the result of their song. While I never make the same piece twice, I am tempted to revisit this one and reinterpret it. We'll see. . . . .
