Gicleé - FineArtPrint on highest quality paper

Directory / Werkverzeichnis Nr. 94

Edition 1 / 5

"I've come a long way" has come a long way indeed.
It's based on a photo, which at best could only be guessed. First I digitally coloured the areas of an abstract photo of architecture fragments. The result is also available here on Artfinder and to find under the name "Collisions Nr 452".
Then I started randomly cutting out fragments from this picture, rearranging them randomly anew. The same with the result, same with the result, same with the result, same with the result - every time leading to a bigger picture.
Finally I added my barcode, filling the black stripes with a 180 degree turn of the fourth fragmentation.
The result is an abstraction of an abstraction, of an abstraction of an abstraction of an abstraction wearing my personel signature within the picture: my individual barcode.

My prints come with a 6 cm white "surrounding", which makes the framing / mounting more convenient.

If you prefer a "ready-to-hang-solution" - speak to me and for sure we'll find a medium, we both could live with. I very much prefer Aludibond.

The prices of my limited artworks rise, the further the edition proceeds. In other words: the first print of the edition is the best value - more or less a bargain, the last one consequently the most expensive. I consider this logical, because by doing so, my artworks automatically rise in value.
