Artist's description:

If we didn't have bees 70% of all crops would not exist - that includes fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts. This whimsical mixed media piece shows just a small portion of many different coloured fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts that depend on bees for their very existence not to mention that of our own. I wanted to keep it colourful and whimsical even though the situation truly is dire. But there is hope as a good many of us have rallied around them and we are striving to secure their survival and that of our own as well.

This is my submission for the Friends of the Earth bee-themed art exhibition for the launch of their Great British Bee Count.
