Artist's description:

Drawing the ingredients of a "Tortilla de Patatas" (Spanish Omelette) with an iPad, in a composition of two pictures. You can see the typical ingredients on the right side of the image (potatos, onions, eggs). On the left side of the image you see other ingredients that can be added (tomato, garlic) and olive oli. The application "brushes" in used to perform a digital finter painting. The image is printed and then enhanced by hand painting, making it an unique piece of art.

The style is based on the "1 Line" technique. The 1 Line technique results in a drawing composed of a single and continuous line. See other artworks in my Artfinfer Shop for examples of this technique with a marker or a brush. The 1 Line is a very innovative, experimental and rather difficult to execute technique, where the chosen tool (marker, brush...) creates an image with a single trace. The markers is not lifted at all until the picture is completed. The technical challenge of this technique is remarkable, as the artist’s hand is on the visual area for most of the execution time, and no corrections are allowed! Then, I add watercolor to enrich the image and add depth.

Materials used:

Finger painting on iPad, watercolor final hand-painted, printed on high quality paper.
