Artist's description:

I use to walk around Manhattan enjoying all that it had to offer, both the good and bad of it.... One day, I noticed this one man in particular. The people went out of their way to avoid him. He seemed very hopeless, my heart went out to the man who was invisible to everyone. I took a photo of him, gave him a few bucks and went on my way.

This is my interpretation....

I spent the first half of my life drawing and creating comic books for Marvel & D.C. comics. I was extremely well off & famous due to it. Then , in the blink of an eye... My life changed forever , due to a car accident. All at once, I lost my career, house and my car. I wandered (psychologically) for years. Then, like a light bulb going on I was able to create again ....

It took much hard work to get to the point I am at today....
