This painting is simple but effective. Turquoise paint was brushed over the canvas and allowed to dry. Slightly thinned yellow paint was then brushed over and whilst this top layer was wet areas of paint were removed with a silicon-tipped brush.
It would suit a variety of situations, anything from an old house to a modern apartment. It would probably look best on a small wall without any competing paintings, as it is quite subtle.
The construction is canvas stretched over a wooden frame which is not visible. It is ready to hang.
Materials used:
Acrylic paint brushed over canvas and allowed to dry. Yellow paint spread and whilst wet partly removed with a silicon-tipped brush to reveal the turquoise below.
