Artist's description:

Part of an ongoing series which focuses on the natural world where its wild inhabitants and flora co-exist on the margins of 'tamed' farm fields within the Suffolk landscape.
Into Bluebell Woods.. depicts a fox as he ventures into the sanctuary of the wild untamed woods. Whilst In the back ground the moon and stars begin their accent casting light and shadows dancing across these cultivated farmlands.

The linocut was worked by carving and cutting in a gestural energetic way so as to create movement and reveal the rolling landscape as a back drop.
I used Japanese paper and calico Ultra Marine Blue Inks in the process of print making and depicting this image...please note each original handmade print so will vary - but hold same quality of craft.

Living in close proximity to nature, being open to the natural environment gives me great inspiration and enables an opportunity to develop this series of works, encouraging my ongoing visual dialogue with nature.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch with any enquiries I am happy to assist. If you are buying more than one of my images, I am able to accommodate with postage costs sending orders together to cut costs for you. The work will come with utmost careful wrapping and a track reference sent to you. Thank you for visiting my art space its much appreciated, Yvonne ( :
