I paint primarily abstracts and usually have no idea where the colors will lead. I started with blues that began to feel like sky and water and then there was land. Click on any image to enter Zoom mode.
The combination of oil paints with cold wax has a long tradition, and in addition to creating some lovely texture, it means I could create this oil painting without toxic turpentine. The sustainable birch wood of the substrate is manufactured locally, so it too is environmentally responsible.
Inlet Water Lapping is an original painting and it is continued on the sides. It is ready to hang on a nail as is, or displayed on a shelf. I can also attach a hanging wire. Just message me your preference.
Shipping costs listed are estimates and vary by distance. Actual costs are often higher and the difference is absorbed by me. In the event actual costs are substantially lower, I will refund the difference to the buyer less materials and packing.
Inlet Water Lapping will be packed very carefully by me at the studio, protected against moisture and impact, to ship insured, tracked, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
