Artist's description:

Summer wildfires in the Cape, South Africa, are a regular occurrence. This painting was inspired by such a fire, near Rina’s house in the mountains. In the wild, many trees depend on fire as a successful way to clear out competition and release their seeds. There are so many things around us that can spark an inspirational flame, all we need to do is seize that moment – carpe diem, and realise it in our work.

About the artist’s work:
Rina thrives on working with her clients to provide the right piece for their space. The process of consulting on the brief, creating the work and then seeing the client’s emotional reaction to the work is her driving force. Each piece is unique. One of a kind. Exclusive.

Artwork notes:
This 3D piece is a completely unique and original abstract oil painting on hand-crafted artist’s canvas, using 100% pure cotton, kiln-dried certified selected timber frame and hand primed with acrylic-based primer. A thin layer of varnish protects the artwork against UV light and dust.
This painting is not framed, but comes ready to hang with the sides painted. Framing is unnecessary, but may be preferred, depending on the client’s wishes.
The artwork is signed on the side and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
