Artist's description:

My artwork INCA GOLD takes tribute to the time, when the Spaniards conquered the Inca Empire under the command of Francisco Pizzaro and imprisoned King Atahualpa. He offered the Spaniards enough gold to fill the room he was imprisoned. Even though, it did not save his live and he was executed in August 1533. So much for the historical part.

The center of my collage INCA GOLD features a green dragonhead embellished with all sorts of metal cuts, glass beads, pearls, swarovsky gems, costume jewelry and gold chains. Below are structures of collaged cardboard molds painted with metallic acryl. The typography in gold emphasizes the words INCA GOLD. On the top is a big mold for extra Dimension. It is made with lightweight expanding foam and painted in metallic blue. The artwork is very powerful and demands a special place on its own.

Materials used:

Acrylic Paint, Metallic Paint, Goldmetallic Paint, Silbermetallic Paint, Swarovski Gems, Marbel Sand, Glitter, Glass Flakes
