Artist's description:

This piece represents to me how we can distort and exaggerate the importance of the things we hear when we are perceiving with a fragile state of mind, vulnerable to paranoia, misinterpretation and negativity, to an almost manic degree. The manic element is represented by the bold colouring. This can be almost humorous when reflecting back with a clear mind, thus there is an almost amusing, cartoonish exaggeration to the image. The image is created using dry media on fine art paper and mounted and framed to an excellent standard, white mount with black inner edge, black frame.

Materials used:

Sharpie and technical pen on fine art paper.
