Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This small mixed media study was inspired by Grimm's Fairy Tales. Time and again she comes across a hut in the woods or a 'Lonely Woodman's Hut'. It is usually with mixed feelings of relief at there being evidence of people who might be able to help (because she is always lost, cold , starving etc) and fear because it may be that this unknown person will harm her in some way.
I was once walking in the forest when I unexpectedly came across a lonely hut. It had the form of a caravan, quite a battered, old one and I saw a woman's face at the window for a second before the curtains were pulled. It was quite a spooky experience which made me think of the old tales. The girl in the image is partly me and partly the fairy tale princess.
I have done many paintings around this theme.
