It concerns the relationship a person has with her body and a person's body with society. Fashion is the basic tool to create the perfect image of yourself, the image that people see the first few seconds of meeting you. Modeling expresses the trends and conditions of each era. This series is an exploration of fashion trends over the years and the empowerment it offers to the women wearing them.
A Mixed Media work created using printed upcycled paper with images sourced from magazines, etc, acrylic, oil pastel or chalk, coffee grounds and silk petals and varnish. Each artwork is finished with a dry cleaner’s tag. Signed on verso. On canvas board with clear acrylic hemisphere and stainless steel screws. Ready to hang from back wire. Ships with Certificate of Authenticity.
