Artist's description:

If given a choice between photographing the beauty of nature or a junkyard, I’d chose the junkyard every time. Crazy right? I can’t help it, I find old, rusty, abandoned stuff fascinating.

I think maybe there’s a couple of reasons for my crazy interest:

1. All that old junk has a story to tell and it sparks my imagination to just think about where it came from, who owned it, and where it’s been.

2. I love the colors and patterns that form on rusty objects, it just inspires me.

3. For me, there’s beauty in the forgotten, abandoned, and lost. I’m drawn to it in a personal way.
