I captured this image on Parliament Hill, Hampstead Heath at the weekend when lots of humans come with dogs to enjoy the fresh air and 'activities'.
The image was translated into a solar plate etching which requires the etching plate being exposed to ultra violet light for exactly the right amount of time. Once the plate has been prepared, the plate is then hand inked and run through the hand operated etching press where the ink is transferred to damp Somerset paper. Each print is individually inked and so no two prints come out exactly the same. This is what makes hand print making so exciting.
