Artist's description:

When I was a kid I wrote to 'Jim'll Fix It' asking if I could go on the show to meet Captain Sensible from the Damned. I had actually watched someone in an earlier show meet said Captain... and he had generously presented them with a fantastic bass guitar. I so wanted that experience that in my naivity I just didnt realise that.. well, that it had been done and no matter how hard I wished, there was no way they would be repeating the experience in a month of Sundays! I was mortified that I didnt even get a reply to my letter. Years later when the true nature of Jim was exposed I was so glad that I hadnt been invited on the show! I can tell thee!

Remote control are weird, how do they work? I always wonder where they majik function changing rays come from... and even more, where do they go to if you are not pointing them at the relevant applience. Is there some alternate dimension where such unfound rays are constantly turning on and off devices, switching channels and recording random unwanted garbage for those who live within them. And when things go unexpectedly strange in our own reality, are these the manifestations of some inter dimensional remote control ray flounding through the boundaries between world to plague us with their hands free powers?
