Artist's description:

I created this painting after watching a news story about a 12 year old boy who was killed in America, when the police believed this toy gun was real, therefore they shot him dead in the park where he was playing. This painting explores the combination of an innocent and fragile child in contrast to the dangerous fire arm and the horrific circumstances of his death. This painting questions the American Gun Laws and calls for change.
